For window sills, Brazilian slate makes an excellent choice due to its durability and natural beauty. Standard lengths for slate window sills are typically around 90 cm,120 cm, 130 cm, 145 cm, 180 cm, or 200 cm; width 15 cm, 20 cm, 30 cm 45 cm or even larger.

For stairs, you can have Brazilian slate cut into treads (the horizontal part of the step) and risers (the vertical part).

Brazilian natural slate is an excellent choice for stairs due to its inherent slip-resistant properties. Its textured surface provides traction, reducing the risk of slips and falls. When using Brazilian slate for stairs:
